I loves me some post-apocalyptic stories! I've read a bunch of these. Though I have to question the inclusion of The Stand which really wasn't all that good, despite it being considered King's magnum opus.

I thought his magnum opus was the crazy Dark Tower series. Admittedly, though, I haven't read much of King's work...
Big omission: "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. One of the best end of the world novels in recent memory.
