Book Contempt

Are books held in contempt? Lynn Wienck of The Chisholm Trail Bookstore in Duncan, Oklahoma thinks so. No respect, says Wienck.

Oh, I don’t know. It’s good that we have ways to reuse books that nobody wants. All books are not sacred, no matter how some book people may feel about them. Most of them being produced today are a waste of paper, in fact, and if we can keep all the Clive Cussler’s of the world out of the landfills, it’s a job well done.
