Well, for one, it's probably wise to check for dupes before a story is posted. And secondly, dupe checking should be automated for all submissions, not just those that were done with the bookmarklet or badge.

Very big of you to point this out. I didn't see anybody pointing out 'dupes' awhile back when someone posted one, sometime two, of my stories EVERY SINGLE DAY for weeks on end.

Perhaps we should tell all the members to check before posting, as I've seen duplicates from several.

This is perhaps the second time that I have posted a duplicate story here, and only because the original escaped my notice. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is.
