The hidden diary of a fourteen-year-old Polish girl has finally surfaced and has been published by Israel’s Holocaust museum. Young Rutka Laskier penned sixty profound and soul-wrenching pages while she waited for Auschwitz. “If only I could say”, she writes, “it’s over, you only die once”.
