Sigh. Another piece of junk. As if I want to buy an expensive ebook reader that won't let me do with my ebooks what I do with my paper books, give or lend them to friends whenever I feel like it.
I don't know, seems like Amazon might be the right business to pull it off though...be the iTunes Store for ebooks. iTunes Rights Management sucks of course, but there's no denying the store and the iPod have done great things for online media. If Amazon pulls it off, it'll be good in the long run.
I suppose we could have used the title 'not safe for anyone' many times already, but I thought it would be especially pertinent here because in this show Richard and Hans illustrate the many situations in which the C-word is perfectly appropriate.
