Woot, means "Wow, loot!", originating among pen-and-paper Dungeons and Dragons role playing game playing nerds in the 80s... adopted by the online gaming community.
A word of the year...very nice. The newer words are interesting additions to the language, but I'm happy to see some older ones made the cut; I've long been a fan of 'quixotic'. I could think of a few uses for 'Pecksniffian', too.

I suppose we could have used the title 'not safe for anyone' many times already, but I thought it would be especially pertinent here because in this show Richard and Hans illustrate the many situations in which the C-word is perfectly appropriate.
