When I'm not reading I always on the the look out for that next great read. I've had great luck with sites such as Shelfari, LibraryThing and Open Book Toronto. The other other night I came across Juicespot. Readers share opinions on books they've read. Found a couple of suggestions. Nice, simple site too. Worth stopping by.

Took a quick look. How's this different than Amazon's Reviews?

Less clutter maybe?
It appears so.
So here's the thing... there are a billion places on the internet to comment on books: individual blogs, general social networks, book related social networks like Library Thing, and a bunch of online bookstores. And Wordsy of course! I'm sure there are more. Most of them are only as good as the size of their networks. Too small and you won't find enough commentary to make the site any use. Too big and the commentary is taken over by Harriet Klausners. Individual blogs don't have the network size, but you can pick the ones you like only.
So new site like this? It's small. Until it reaches critical mass it's worthless ot me. Meaning I won't use it. And it will only get to critical mass if enough people DON'T act like me.
I wish them all the luck though.
