Prolific Amazon reviewer makes it into a book

I don't mean to be too hard on Harriet - I'm sure she's sincere, and really does read and critique six books a day. But when I was writing THE PREFECT, and needed a handy index by which to measure the prefects' ability to speed-read, the name "Klausner" couldn't help but jump to mind.

I didn't get that reference, which means I've been living under a stone for the last few years according to Reynolds. :)

I've never seen one of her reviews. I don't actually look too much at Amazon reviews. I would if I didn't have to scroll down 30 pages past all sorts of other crap, but that's another rant. However, authors have been ranting about Klausner for years, so it's popped up on a few blogs I read here and there. Still not quite sure why anyone gets so worked up about her, though the occasional jibe like Reynolds' makes sense (and amuses me).

I agree. I have a hard time looking through those reviews!
