Ayn Rand’s “Anthem” utilized religious symbolism to emphasize the work’s humanistic message. However, in spite of the parallels, “Anthem” is not a religious story, but a glorification of man’s humanistic potential.

Calling Rand a humanist is glorification... she was a twisted bitch who was obsessed with the idea that selfishness was the key to progress. The law of the jungle should rule and so should free market economies everywhere. The fact there's really no such thing as a free market never never struck her. She had a vision and it was not to be questioned. Pragmatism wasn't in the picture. She was in fact just as dogmatic as the regime she so much hated, the Leninist-Marxism of the Soviet Union. She just turned from that dogma to another dogma called neo liberalism, also promising freedom for everyone.
The naivety of people...
And you're saying your comment isn't dogmatic? Did you know Ms. Rand personally to be able to say she indeed was a bitch? And speaking of naive . . .
