It may be coincidence that Jessica Seinfeld's Deceptively Delicious, published by Collins, incorporates ideas from a cookbook twice rejected by that same publisher. It may be coincidence that the initial cover illustration was similar to the cover of the other cookbook. Or it may be that the title is very apt indeed.

Collins opted to publish the second book because Ms. Seinfeld is “smart, stunning, and infinitely promotable." Now I suppose they take these things into consideration, but really. Are they saying that they rejected the first cookbook because the author was stupid, unattractive and/or not a celebrity?
