Anna Johnson freely admits she’s no authority on her topic, but feels her enthusiasm alone qualifies her to tell readers how to get their lives together. The single author of Three Black Skirts wonders about such things as the “weird domestic rituals” required of a wife, and only occasionally follows her own advice.

Well Three black skirts really had an interesting ring to it, and really if this was a light hearted fun read, I would have picked up the book looking forward to a smile.
I think this is a case where the author “fluffed” the interview, she lost me at "because experts are too good at what they do," says Johnson in an e-mail interview. "Amateurs are always striving ... This book is based on my mistakes as much as my accomplishments and I do not claim authority, just enthusiasm."
Agreed. Conceited, flighty and definitely fluffy. I couldn't make sense of those remarks either and, to tell the truth, I'm not sure if I could stomach to read the book.
