I'm just resentful that Seattle, the most literate city in the U.S., no longer has a book festival. The non-profit that ran NW Bookfest ran it into the ground.
Surprisingly enough, NL holds two huge book festivals each year. They're pretty big in the Canadian lit scene, considering they're held on the Rock. I've yet to attend one, as it means crossing the island to reach civilization, which can't be done in a day. Yet, other people cross the ocean to get to them, so maybe I'll make a bigger effort next year.

I suppose we could have used the title 'not safe for anyone' many times already, but I thought it would be especially pertinent here because in this show Richard and Hans illustrate the many situations in which the C-word is perfectly appropriate.
