In a year of pro-atheism books, Anthony Flew wrote a book on his conversion from atheism to deism. Or did he? His co-author Roy Abraham Varghese has been accused of putting words into Flew's mouth, taking advantage of his decreasing mental condition. A Catholic school board has pulled from its library the children's fantasy trilogy His Dark Materials because the author Philip Pullman is an atheist and the novels are alleged to be anti-religious. Though the auther did apparently say his books were about killing God, I wonder if pulling them won’t just make them more appealing.
