As I was experiencing the onset full-blown post-polio syndrome, I had hit rock bottom. I was seeking understanding and the wisdom to overcome what seemed to be the worst personal disaster ever, next to just losing my wife to cancer. As I prayed and searched my inner soul, God began answerting my prayers in the form of poetry. This eventually turned into a collection of spiritually inspired poetry.
I am submitting Chapter 01 from my first novel "Dandyflowers". The story is actually two stories in one. In the present Erin Collins gets engaged & her father Jerry spends the better part of a four day weekend telling her the second story, his life beginning in August 1962 & ending in May 1972. The story shifts back and forth between then and now.

I suppose we could have used the title 'not safe for anyone' many times already, but I thought it would be especially pertinent here because in this show Richard and Hans illustrate the many situations in which the C-word is perfectly appropriate.
