Was Colonel Richard Carey the abolutionist black?

Okay, so this might not be astounding news but ghosts stories really are interesting. My tudor by the way is not haunted although my brother and his wife say so cause they want me to leave cause when he sees me he is reminded that at the drop of a cooper hat he could go to jail.
