Politically incorrect he may be, but Tintin still has appeal. Here are nine very good reasons for his continued popularity around the globe.

A Congolese university student in Belgium has launched legal action against the publisher of Tintin in the Congo, demanding that the book be withdrawn from the market. The same sort of controversy in the U.K. only served to boost sales of the book. While we’re on it, Shakespeare was sexist and anti-Semitic, so I guess we should trash all his stuff too.
