Well, the comments certainly showed that people think this is taking things too far. Of course, I'd have to read the book to opine about it, but it seems to me that if the book comes with a warning, there shouldn't be such a fuss happening. You know, Shakespeare is racist too. Just look how he portayed Shylock. But that's ok because of the beliefs of the time in which he wrote. I'm not sure what the difference is here, really. Then again, there was a high schoo here that banned The Merchant of Venice because of anti-semitism.
